Neck Liposuction sculpts your neck and jawline
It eliminates unwanted pockets fat and fullness resistant to diet and sometimes due to heredity. Neck Liposuction is often combined with other procedures to create a desired neck and jawline shape and is one of the safest and most popular cosmetic procedures.
Neck liposuction is a neck lift procedure used to remove fat from beneath the chin. It is successfully used to minimize the look of a double chin or jowls. Neck liposuction will not necessarily eliminate dimpled or rippled looking skin. To remove that you might also need a neck lift contouring that is done in conjunction with the liposuction surgery.
During the procedure, the surgeon makes a tiny incision in the skin, typically in the crease just under the chin or behind the ear lobes. The cannula is inserted and the high pressure vacuum that is part of the liposuction instrument is used by the surgeon to break up the fat deposits and sculpt the area to the desired proportions. One of the advantages of using liposuction to remove neck fat is that the skin, muscles, nerves, and blood vessels remain intact.
Be forewarned that neck liposuction is not an easy operation for most people to recover from. Like all plastic surgeries, there is a risk of infection. There is also a risk that the surgery may leave wider scars than initially predicted by the doctor depending on such factors as whether or not you smoke and your age.
